Chef Danielle Sepsy is the founder and creative genius behindThe Hungry Gnome, the popular and innovative wholesale bakery and catering company based in NYC.  Chef Danielle's love of cooking began at the young age of 13 when she started a home business selling her delicious scones to friends, neighbors, and local cafes. Since then, Danielle has been crowned the “Scone Queen" by devoted fans who rave about “the BEST scones in the universe.”  But Danielle is not a one trick pony—she has become known for many other savory and sweet creations that are playful, unique and downright delicious. You can now find her Hungry Gnome baked goods at hundreds of New York’s most popular coffee shops, restaurants and markets including Joe Coffee and Birch Coffee, while her flair for elegant catering has been the highlight of events held by the likes of Bulgari, Sisley Paris Cosmetics, Kleinfeld’s Bridal and other New York houses of style and sophistication.

Chef Danielle is a graduate of Penn State University’s School of Hospitality Management and The International Culinary Center's Professional Culinary Arts program. She has managed restaurants in some of New York City's most elite, luxury hotels including, The Peninsula Hotel, The Plaza Hotel and the iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel and was the general manager behind a high-end amenity and event center at the prestigious Park Avenue Tower. She has appeared in cooking segments on nationally-syndicated television programs including Anderson Cooper Live and has performed live and on-demand cooking demonstrations on Food Network Kitchen and at special events sponsored by major corporations and hotels in the New York metro area. Her website ChefDanielleSepsy.com is a showcase of her culinary talents and features many of her instructional videos and recipes.
