The Hungry Gnome Catering & Baked Goods" was started by hospitality guru and Chef Danielle Sepsy. Chef Danielle's love of cooking and hospitality began at the young age of 13 when she started her own scone business out of her parent's home. From that day on Danielle's scones have become her most requested item and have been coined "the BEST scones in the universe," by everyone who tries them. But Danielle is not a one trick pony, both her savory and sweet dishes are acknowledged for being playful, innovative and downright delicious.
Chef Danielle Sepsy is a graduate of Penn State University’s School of Hospitality Management and The International Culinary Center's Professional Culinary Arts program. She has managed several restaurants in some of New York City's most elite, luxury hotels including, The Peninsula Hotel, The Plaza Hotel and the iconic Waldorf Astoria Hotel. In 2016 she joined the award winning hospitality and event company Convene as the opening General Manager of a high-end, exclusive amenity center at the prestigious Park Avenue Tower.
In 2013 Danielle appeared on Anderson Cooper Live! where she was the winner the “Chopped Challenge” moderated by Food Network’s Ted Allen, based on the popular “Chopped!” television show. In Spring 2014 she was the third place winner of Spike TV's "Frankenfood" with her Braised Peanut Butter & Jelly Rabbit dish. She has also been a finalist for primetime shows like MasterChef on Fox and Food Fighters on NBC. Danielle is currently a content contributor for Food Network and you can find her step by step cooking videos on their app Food Network Kitchen.
